Filled order incorrectly

Went by Shipleys located on Roddfield Rd on u 8-9-19. Did the drive through only because I did not have to go inside and wait other people in line. I felt uneasy about thinking then i won't see what i am asking for. But did not have the time.. anyway the woman at the wi dow took my order. I made clear to her that I wanted a mix but i wanted 3 glazed donuts in the mix. I wantes 2 chocolate donuts one with and without nuts and the rest filled but no raspberry because of an allergy. She gave me a fkat bix which i gad never seen before i usually have gone to Shipleys on Saratoga. But beeing this fairly new one on Roddfield was in my direction. I paid and took the box with donuts feeling kind of light in weight. But i thought surely she gave me what i asked for. When i arrived at my destination i discovered she had filled the order INCORRECTLY!!! I was NOT happy with her inability to fill the order correctly! Today on Saturday I called them to let them know what they've done and they gave me the run-around when woman answered and said do you want the whole dozen replaced and I said well yeah. So then she put the manager on the line and then that manager acted like how many donuts did she give you wrong well in my opinion she gave them to me all wrong although she did put one chocolate donut in there and she did put 3 glazed donuts in there so do the math.! I will never give them business again and I guarantee you I give a lot of business to these donut shops cuz I give them away. I am not happy and if they're going to play those games and steal people's money that is *** And I just want you to know that's what they did and I will post it on Facebook and I will not ever have any of my family or friends go to that location! You know I am the customer and I even took a picture but I'm not going to argue with them I'm just not going to do it. They are so unprofessional or lack inderstanding of what i am conveying to them. And if the owner put them up to that.. well joke is on them! There are plenty of other donut shops in Corpus Christi and they're super good too!

I purchased a strawberry milk. When i got to work and opened the milk the seal didnt break and when i went to return the milk the employee would refund my money or exchange the milk. He basicly said i dont have a receipt and didnt but the milk from there. *** you have a camera. I am not drinking milk with a seal that didnt break

Ripping people off

About 3 months ago I went into the local Shipleys in Russellville Arkansas, which I used to go all the time. I love their biscuits and gravy and I always order the double. Well they were out of the cartons for doubles so they charged me for two singles. That made me mad and I did not return until today. Today I go in and again they did not have the double cartons. The young girls said they would charge me for two singles. I said that is ridiculous, just give me a single. The young girl had to be new because she didnt even know how to make the single. She then proceeded as I was walking out the door to chuckle and speak in Spanish to the other lady working. She was making fun of me because of what I said and cutting her eyes at me. This really upset me. I believe they are not ordering the double cartons so they can rip people off by charging them for singles. I will not pay more for a double biscuit and gravy than what the menu says it should be. I did not ask for two singles. The young girl did not know that I can speak Spanish and understood every word she said. I will not go back there again. Before this started happening months ago I went into there every single day I worked and got a double and on the weekends I took my three grandchildren there for donuts and other stuff usually spending at least $45.00 on Saturday and Sunday together every week and of course the Monday through Friday sales. Now times that by 52 weeks and it may not seem like much but if there are other customers that have done the same then you are loosing a lot of money in a year. Very disappointed.

Disappointed!

Went to the Shipley in my City for the first time today. Looked at the menu & what they called "Kolaches" were simply breakfast sandwiches. I ordered a bear claw and aske why they only had Savory Kolaches. The employee just stared at me. Then I said, I mean don't you have any sweet or fruit filled Kolaches, or maybe cream cheese? She responds "No, it's basically just American cheese." I reiterated "Yes you only have savory." She had no idea what savory meant even though they are listed as such on the menu. Finally, she told the employee behind her "She needs a bear claw", then had to explain to him what THAT was! Got to the office to eat my bear claw; it was greasy & sticky, made of donut dough. And the filling was just cinnamon sugar...basically a cinnamon twist! So, they don't know what a Kolache is, or what a bear claw is & don't know the meaning of the word savory. I will never go there again.

Very BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I went to Shipley’s in Manor, Texas. There was a young dirty blond white male who served me. I was very disappointed with the donuts they were old and hard, so I made a U turn to get a refund. The young man was VERY RUDE. He said, “Don’t ever do this again!” I was very shocked. I told him “trust me, I won’t be coming back!” He replied, “Good!” And slammed the window. I was shocked on this unprofessional. I called to get him name and he hung up on me. I then called multiple times and he wouldn’t answer. I’ll be sure to make sure EVERYONE KNOWS about my experience there! Very disappointing. This my 1st & LAST time!

Disappointed in managment

Asked to get direct deposit and they said they dont have direct deposit. My checks are always short dont get all my hours n i work more hours n few overtime n i dont get paid that just 40 hours. Say they dont pay overtime then why make me work more then not right. We dont akways get our checks on friday sometimes wait til next day to get them. Been trying call corporate office but no answer. I dont know whats going on n i cant leave now cuz i got kids to feed but not happy there no more if not gonna get paid right

The Shipley's on Rankin and 45 the drive though window around 6:30-7:00 an employee was rude the dounts were cold with mold on the back of her shirt said Claudia I don't know if that's her name or what but that attuide was under called for when I'm spending my money

Tried Shipley twice. And the final verdict is... uhhh, NO. Greasy, nasty taste. Both visits were 5 years apart. So I assume this is just they way they always taste. Never going back. By the way Shipley, just because you "shape" it like a bear claw, does not make it a true bear claw. Bear claws have other ingredients. Perhaps go to Panera Bread and have one of theirs for a clue.

Shipley worker ask me to move off the lot.

I've been a customer of this location for over 25 years and today was not a good for my wife and I. We were park in the parking lot of Shipley and I ask a homeless man if he wanted something to eat at Jax-In-Box. I was approache by a young man and ask not to park in Shipley parking lot. I told him that I'm a regular customer her at Shipley I just wasn't buying anything today here. I think the young man was upset because I ask the homeless man if he wanted something to eat at Jax-In-Box and not Shipley. This happen today around 12:00 noon so the parking lot was not full. I'm not sure if this has happen to anyone else, but for me they have lost a loyal customer for over 25 years. Some business think it's a joke in our community no respect at all, but they won't get any of my money ever again.

Worse experience ever want go back to this location

I went Sunday afternoon on Antoine and victory February 17 2019. I asked directly for a dozen of glazed donuts and a small chocolate milk and an apple juice. The lady gave me more than what I had asked for, then had the nerve to catch an attitude when all I said was" ma'am I didn't ask for all this". She argued back and ford with me and refused to give me the manager number. I then tried to pull around and walk into the store and she locked the door and told me to drive back around. After I drove back around I had to wait in the line behind two cars. When I did make it to the drive thru window she laughed in my face and told me there was nothing she could do for that she couldn't give me any money cause she didn't have no change. Then on top of that my donuts was cold. She snatched the donuts out of my hand and put them into the microwave the handed them back to me all sloppy. I said never again and just drove off.

I go for mostly the food, but at this one location i use to work at kept changing her rules. My first day she would show me a way, so i started doing that the next day then she would show me a different way. So the day after that i would do it the way she showed me from the day before and said i was doing it all wrong and would show me how she showed me the first day. The other employees would show me an easier and faster way and she wanted me to do it her way and wondered why I was always getting in trouble by her.

Angry Shipley’s manager, Embarrassed customer,

It was early around 7:30am same day I made the complaint , I went into the Shipley’s located @4519 Reading Rd. in Rosenberg Tx. I ordered a dozen of donuts to take home, I’d just gotten off from work. I couldn’t wait till I got home so I decided to eat one on the way home. Well to my surprise, COLD DONUTS ,. When I returned and calmly asked if I could get warm donuts, the cashier went to get a mananger. Well the manager was the one Pissed , she very loudly said “ These are not cold !! And you should have said you wanted warm donuts “ How do we know you wanted warm donuts” I told her I never knew you had to specify warm donuts. She proceeded to open, then yelled about the eaten donut “ You’ve eaten one, what am I supposed to do with this ???Now I’m going to have to throw these away!!” She Slammed the donuts into the trash right in front of me, came back and told me it was going to be a 5 min wait . When she returned with my warm donuts, she again slammed the box down on the counter before bagging them, and made sure she gave me only 11 donuts. I smiled and said thank you, before going out the door I heard her say “ I don’t see anything funny “ I’ve gone to Shipley’s for years, actually the only Donut’s I will actually stop to buy. Never have I had an issue, nor did I know you had to say you wanted the donuts to be fresh and warm, because they always are. I feel the manager went over and beyond if this agitated her. I didn’t go in angry or agitated, just wanted warm donuts, and the cashier could’ve taken care of it, WOW!!!!

Shipley Donuts - Store complaint

On Saturday June 16th approximately around 12:35 p.m. Shipley's store on Antoine Drive in Houston Texas 77088 I went to the drive-thru to purchase two dozens of glazed donuts.

I asked the lady cashier that answered the window how long has the donuts been sitting there she told me that the donuts has been sitting since about 11am, I asked her could I get hot donuts, she said (no). I asked her can I purchase one and she allowed me to purchase one a doughnut was old and nasty, and cold. I asked for a refund then she closed the window on me and then another woman came to the window. The second women asked me, What was the reason i was asking for a refund.

I told her the same as i told the first lady. The donuts was cold, hard and nasty and i wanted a refund. She begin to get very rude while trying to explain to me why i can not get a refund.

So i asked for corporate number and the second lady told me to look it up, she said (Google it) then i asked what was her name then she began yelling saying she was going to call the police.

This type of behavior is not expected. I am a customer who only wanted to buy 2dozens if fresh donuts.

Not buying this review. There is more to this review then you're stating there is.

First off, there always two sides to the story. Second, i saw and watched the video.

And it looks like you're the one with rude attitude. No wonder the employees and managers did not want to serve you or give you an refund.

Horrible manager

Hello i was there early today at killeen texas on express west lane and the manager there was being rude to hes employes! It is not professional at all to treat your emplyes like crap. Hope this matter gets fixed. Thank you.
